My name is Ryan Haddox, and I am currently a journalism student at the University of Texas at Austin. I was born in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Lake Dallas High School in 2010.
My parent's names are Kenny and Toni Haddox, and I have a sister named Tori who is four years younger.
I grew up an avid sports fan, playing baseball, football, and ice hockey all the way through until my high school graduation. I am very passionate about the success Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars, and obviously the Texas Longhorns.
I currently write for the Daily Texan, covering Major League Baseball for their blog, and write a weekly story on the university football program.
When I graduate I hope to find a job covering sports somewhere in the country, whether by print, radio or television.
